Here is an interesting article I found about consuming almonds and the satiating benefits they have on your diet. I must say that whenever I eat nuts, I do feel quite full...here's additional evidence to support the benefits of eating nuts. Cheers, Deb!

I love almonds, but I find that I can't eat just a few of them! For a while, Trader Joe's sold them in individual packs, which was a little more helpful because I would know when I had one serving, but it's hard for me to tell otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what's going on at Trader Joe's. I've had some of their other nut blends but not the almonds lately. Another option is to check out Jewel, Mariano's or even Walmart (those Walmart Expresses are opening all over) and look in the snack aisle for the Emerald brand 100 calorie packs.
DeleteI was a little disappointed with the possibility that Trader Joe's may no longer carry the indviuadul packs of almonds any more so I went the TJ's on Wabash and Roosevelt to inquire, and happily they are back in stock. TJ's said that from time to time they run out of products but with staples like the almonds, they try to get them back in stock.
DeleteHello everyone,
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there were more articles/comments. etc. on the blog. I never got a notification...should I be getting one when there is a post or do I just have to check each day??? Thank you Danna for the shout out! I DO try and give the correct information...hehehehee. Please grab the "Go Raw Trail Mix" sold in the little bags at TJ's. It is the only trail mix I have found that does NOT have added sugar. And it is perfect for a snack. Hugs to all!!! See...it is good to be nuts!!! :)
I went out today and found BOTH the almonds and the Go Raw Trail mix. I'm trying to revamp my pantry...
